Update: Cain (obscure ’70s hard rock) review posted

I just posted an overly long review of A Pound of Flesh by Cain, an obscure Minnesota band that released one solid album in 1975. I originally wrote this review for Craig’s Metal Board, a private email list, back in 2005 and went a little overboard with the length. Still, it’s quite detailed, and I’m relearning all these long-forgotten facts about the album as I reread it.

Just picked up the Sonic Boom today. I can’t wait to give it a whirl as soon as I get a free minute today. Expect new full-length reviews of that CD as well as vintage Montrose later in the week. Cheers, and remember, Anvil is on The Tonight Show tonight, while KISS will be on Late Night With David Letterman. You need to get your TIVO or DVR going. Either that or run two TVs simultaneously side-by-side.-JB
