Rainbow re-Rising on vinyl, Destruction set to blast

It looks like Rainbow fans will be able to relive the glory days all over again with some new vinyl reissues. Back on Black records is reissuing all the classic Rainbow albums through 1986, so those of you (like me) who missed all those old LPs the first time around can start from scratch. I’ve gotta say, it’s truly comforting to hear Dio’s work staying in the news and to feel Ronnie’s spirit living eternally through his music.

In other news, German thrashers Destruction have re-signed with their old label, Nuclear Blast. I’m not extremely familiar with this band, other than their solid Release From Agony platter from 1988, but it’s nice to see all these classic thrash bands still at it. I am intrigued to hear more from Schmier and co…

That’s all for now from sunny West Michigan. I have some more album reviews up my sleeve for the coming days. As always, keep it loud and proud!–Jonathan Kollnot
